Avert.. do you need a prescription?

Hi,

I've been looking into Avert and the pharmacy.ca website I went to states that you need a prescription. Is this the only way to get it?.. can anyone recommend anywhere else to get it?... also, is ordering from America the only way to get it?, I'm in Germany.

I know in Germany they market the herbal version of anti-ch (avert/glyco) sold under the name of SweatoSan. It is obvs less effective but might help depending on your severity and imho better than nothing at all.

thanks for the info, I've looked into it and have ordered some. Can you tell me what you mean by 'the herbal version of anti-ch (avert/glyco)'... is Sweatosan in some way like avert?

..and if anyone can tell me where they've ordered avert/robinul from and if you've done so without a prescription?

Glycopyrrolate is a medication of the muscarinic anticholinergic group. Avert is a brand name version of the Generic Glycopyrrolate. You might also hear the brand Robinul. Robinul = USA most common brand. Avert= Canada most common brand.

Sweatosan is made from Sage which has "natural" anticholinergic properties. However, Sweatosan is no where near as strong as medical Glyco Tablets.

I just it from my local pharmacy using a prescription though myself.

Avert is NOT a prescription drug in Canada--it's over the counter. And pharmacy.ca is the only counter--they compoumd it themselves.

Avert is only available through them. Don't know if Robinul (same stuff, different brand name) is available in Europe.
