the semester is about to end so I was going to try to ask a new friend out. Here's the plan

me-wow I can't believe the semester is about to end

me-we should go to the movies to celebrate!
her-hopefully she says okay
idk is this normal? <this is for friendship nothing romantic just to be very clear>
