are any of you geniuses about puzzles? :/ damn homework

for an extremely strange assignment, we had 30 rebus puzzles -- basically word puzzles in a box. i'll give you a few examples:

HEAD
HEELS

is head over heels


S S S S S S S S S S
SHOES

is tennis shoes (10 s)

in pattern a

is in a holding pattern

There are a few I just can't get!!

here they are:


1) NET (that's all! just net!)

2) =OUR, FOUR. << the first "F" is cut off.

3) is a large cursive C with FISH halfway inside. I was thinking "not enough fish in the sea?"

You're spot on about 3) ! Wow, I couldn't get any of these on my own.

hehehe, thanks worrydoll! and nothing but net is an expression when somebody makes a basket in basketball that goes in without touching the rim or backboard...

the other two were:

big fish in a little sea (okay. this was annoying because the c was HUGE. but it was a lower-case c ... lame . besides, who says that? big fish in a little pond i thought?)

and

final four (i actually got this ... also lame because i see no reason why the four should have been cut off )
