Any1 shy/sp & 40/50

Is there any1 out there who is suffering from shyness/social phobia etc & in there 40's or 50's who has had a lifetime of this life crippling desease of never being able 2 get close 2 any1 (Female) or had no close friendships of any kind,just acquaintences.
I've had crush after crush & even had a crush on sumbody which lasted many many years & in that time I surely think I had a series of mist opportunities with certain females 1 of them would've probably understood my problem.
I have just constantly worried about my situ.

Any1 out there of the above relate 2 this.

im 19 but i completley understand the not being able to get close to anyone. Ive never had or girlfreind or even kissed a girl and i fear intimate relationships.

It get to the point where your like " well im already this old and have no experience, so why even bother trying, after all, if you have never had a GF or kissed a girl there must be something wrong with you and what woman would want that?"

Or so i think....


I fear that a woman might get close enough to discover the real me and she probably wont like it because after all, I DONT LIKE ME.......

Im in my 30's and had it my entire life, I kept thinking it would get better and tried to make it go away, but I think I'm stuck with it. I think almost all people with SA regret missed opportunities. I've had some horrible, abusive relationships, so I don't really care right now if I meet someone or not, I just don't want to be over 65 and alone. I think there is or was a dating site for people with SA, you could try to meet someone who would understand you better. Try googling: social anxiety dating site. Something should come up. I'm sure there alot of people in their 40's and 50's out there with SA, but they're hard to find I suppose because they also have SA. Join other forums as well. Hope this helps a little.
