Any of you ever fell down and hit your head against the floor. I did when i was in 3rd grade, falling from a tree. and later on when i played basketball. I wonder if those contributed to my socialphobia, memory problems. please let me know. thanks yours truly.
Uh, no, but I did get hit in the head with about 5 footballs and a basketball. I think that contributed to my not wanting to be near sports or school-age males, but I think that was more common sense than SA.
yeah--my ex used to -ermm- take his anger out on me a lot.. one time he made a hard clenched fist and hit me across the head with his arm-- I hit the floor & the room was spinning and everything was a blur- but I had the SA- phobia long before that happened-- all that just made me crazy & insecure in addition. I don't think my memory was affected either, but then, had he hit another part of my head, who knows? Maybe I wouldn't be alive to even be posting this. lol (gotta laugh-- keeps me from being depressed)
A blow to the head, usually severe enough to cause unconsciousness, can cause various neurological problems such as memory loss, headaches, and even some behavioural problems, but I doubt very much that it could cause or even aggravate, a phobia.
Many times. Twice off the monkey bars as a young kid(once unconcious).
Once over the handle bars of a bike at speed..also unconcious.
And flipped out of the pram onto my head at 2 years old.
Who know's what it does to one's brain...you never know.
