Hey
I was wondering if anyone has abandoned a hobby completly as a result of a deppresion that they've experianced. This is exactly what I've done. I used to play jazz guitar and jazz keyboard 3 hours a day, every day. I was at the level where, if I continued my pratice regime for 3-4 more months, I would be as good as the average professioal jazz musician. But, then I became depressed, and I stoped playing; the happiness that my musical activities brought me was lost under a deep ocean covered with oil... That was a 2 years ago, and I was 16. Now, I don't pratice music at all. And I don't think that I ever will. deppressive episodes are horrible. I had them in the past too, my first being in grade 5... I wish that this didn't happen, but, of course, it did..
