Has anyone else been a bit enlightened by this epic of a flim? I saw it last night and was so amazed by it I watched it twice again. I'm that cool.. :
: Not only is the acting & soundtrack fantastic, but it really made me think about what's important in life and how nothing should stop you from doing what you want, though ultimate freedom, in Lester's case, can come at the ultimate price. My brother watched it with me too and was totally unfazed, I mean at the plastic bag scene he laughed and was like "it's just a ****ing bag!". I guess he's too young to understand the deepness of it. But yeah, I'm going to try to start looking for and appreciating the beauty in life more, no matter how mundane things first seem. Us social phobics are always so wrapped up in our own crippling self-judgement; maybe we should just ignore our doubts and concentrate wholly on our surroundings, as in focusing outwards as oppose to inwards? I've noticed that when I'm very anxious I can recall very little about wherever I was afterwards, all I can remember is how I felt at the time about myself, not about what I saw and how it made me feel if that makes sense...Ok, I'm rambling now
