hmm, you wrote so much about him - what about yourself?
What do you do in that time when he's not around, what are your interests and hobbies etc?
Do you work or study or....?
What kind of person is he? Can you trust him?
I don't know if any woman would be totally happy to leave a man to go for a vacation with his single friends for 1-2 weeks... It depends really on what kind of person he is.. and what is he going to Vegas for? to go to casinos or other things?
What kind of people are his friends? All things to consider...

Have you ever worked full-time, or two jobs? It can be stressful I tell ya, and some people really don't see each other except at night.. Some couples stay together allright this way, especially if both are working/busy..
It strikes me as odd that he would be working so much and then go spend the money in Vegas...? (except maybe if that would be his dream from long ago, but even then, huh, priorities...?) check if he might not be a workaholic or even some gambling problem maybe? (I don't know you or him, so it's difficult to know over the internet...)
You wrote about leaving 'back home' later on maybe, and he doesn't seem to listen to your wishes much...??
If it was someone I'd trust 100% I might be okay with the trip (make sure he doesn't take too much money with, if you guys might need it for other things??), but in combination with any other iffy factors...? Not sure, do you even want to be with someone so different from you and with such different priorities?
