afraid of being on my own...

If I went by myself on a trip I wouldn't know how in the hell to go about it.

I am afraid that if I was left on my own, I could not thrive as most others would. I feel like I wouldn't know what to do, how to go about things, how to work with this society and it's structures to get things done. Like most people know sometimes it's not what you know but who you know (when it's not what you know, anyways). This has me quite limited as what I know is not enough, and who I know is also not enough.. and I dont know how to move up the ranks to get the information I need.

I read about entrepreneurs and people who made it when they were as young if not younger than me and it makes me feel really inadequate. The main difference between me and the those people is that they knew how to COMMUNICATE and knew how to get things done, the social way. They are often portrayed as being very active, socially, and as a result, being active in general.

Myself, I have built quite a hard comfort zone.. and I feel inadequate. I feel like if I tried to do what these people would, I don't know enough to be able to do the things they did, or have the communication skills, and confidence to do what they did. They didn't have to study that much on their own, from a book (at least not the majority). The majority of what they learned is mostly from others, and they got it socially. Sure maybe they read book initially to get an idea of things, but these days... every book has something different to say.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wish I could be like these types of people. Who can just be able to thrive on their own, consequently because they know how to make it on their own, and it was ok for them to ask stupid questions. But for me, it's not ok to ask stupid questions. I am not at their age, I have not been where they have been, to gather all sorts of information about the subject he/she was pursuing. I believe they first gathered information about the subject, THEN went on to pursue it.

I guess I just dont know where to find this information. Yea sure the library, but who these days has as much time to spend reading "on their free time" these days? It's all about work work work non stop, and you hardly have any free time for yourself as you did back in those days I believe... Because we have to make money. Without money we couldn't have free time, but in this case without free time you can't even succeed in getting much done about going up the ranks.

Besides.. if you have free time and you are a nobody like me, you are just a loser who has too much time on his/her hands and should just suffer working from sun up to sun down and never have free time for myself. Why? because there are people elsewhere in world that are suffering and I feel I should be grateful for the opportunities right in front of me rather than searching for something that is probably not in my reach right now.

I feel like I'm going f-cking crazy.
