A Suggestion

I was thinking....

Why doesn't everybody join in group meetings with others with social anxiety. I figure that way, people could feel accepted within a group setting, for example, and work on other confidence issues. It could also help with support and understanding. And, it could lead to friendships also.

I just figured that it is a good idea.

Good suggestion. But it's easier said then done. I've been trying for years to meet others in South Florida with social anxiety disorder (SAD), but I can't even get people to meet online. Seems to me most here are too afraid to even list where they are from.

The chat room here is an example of people not wanting to break out of their "comfort" zone.
