a deep shame

So I was sitting on the couch, and my best friend cycled by, and I felt a deep shame about me. Because it's afternoon, everybody is supposed to work, or go to school and I'm sitting here on this ****ing couch, with my notebook.
I'm afraid what she must have been thinking about me...
I want to show everyone I can study and work!!
But now i'm just leading a life full of boredom.. and I feel pointless
