has anyone tried homeopathy (i.e ignatia, gelsemium, etc)??

Found these two homeopathic remedies for anxiety while looking for a book afore mentioned on the forum, called "Treating Anxiety Naturally". Here's what the site has to say about homeopathic treatments for anxiety: A dose of ignatia 6X every 15 minutes may help you reduce fear and anxiety...

    phone counseling anyone?

Have any of you received counseling over the phone? I know this great shrink but she lives at the other edge of town. A while back she had suggested phone counseling but I did not want to get into the awkward payment discussion. Anywho if any of you are receiving phone counseling: would you...

    physical sickness thanks to anxiety

Prior to a social event, even if its just going out or going to work does anyone's anxiety actually make them feel physically sick (i.e. feeling nauseous, stomach aches, etc)? A bit of a catch 22, because staying in does not resolve that sickness per se, only escalates it the next time around...

    bibleselling skills and exercising

Since exercise tends to help a lot with racing thoughts, worries, and depression. I thought I'd post this into the Treatments category. I often force myself to go jogging around the block along with performing a few basic body exercises. For one thing it tires you out a bit, so you don't...

Since it's not exactly easy to meet people for us social phobics... I'm wondering how many of you have tried online personals to meet people or find dates and whether they have worked for anyone. If so, which ones have you used :?: I have used those in the past, but have always found that...

anyone else has this two volume xtremes issue?

Just curious if anyone else had this problem. :?: I'm naturally soft-spoken (not metaphorically, but stictly volume speaking). I remember that every time I raised my voice when I talked of something in which I was really interested, as a child I was told to tone it down a little bit...

    Greetings fellow SAers!

Hello everyone. I feel lucky having stumbled on this site, since this was pretty much what I was looking for. I have been previously diagnosed by my physician for having social anxiety and a form of mild depression (thanks to my anxiety). And so I seem to have found myself tangled in this...
