well as the title says, "you are not alone." cheesy but true. i related with what you said. and that is awful that your boyfriend's mom has it out for you.

I wouldn't take it personally. That probably goes for most parents. I know it's still annoying though.

on the upside thats makes everybody's judgement of you null and void, because they dont know you
on the downside, you get misunderstood and its lonely
thats what i think! so just remind yourself, 'hell, you dont know me anyway" it helps me theres one person in my life who really thinks im dumber than i am and treats me accordingly. alot of the time i want to prove her wrong. but really she thinks im a young church going girl, has put the stereotype on me thats so far wrong, and wont ever see me behind it. think how many people look at you and dont see you at all. probably 99% of the people you deal with. so its pointless to worry what they think about the imaginary person they've superimposed over you. i dont know.
