" I NEED TO LEAVE MY CAGE"

I NEED TO LEAVE MY CAGE
THIS INVISIBLE CAGE
THAT KEEPS ME FROM FLYING
A PRISON OF THOUGHTS
IN WHICH I AM DYING.

I' M NEEDING A SMILE
A REASON FOR FIGHTING
AND I NEED A FRIEND
WHEN I' M HAPPY OR CRYING.

IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG TIME
AND I CANNOT DENY IT
BUT A CHANCE HAS ARRIVED
AND I WILL NOT STAY QUIET.

P.D. I usually write poems in order to release stress or express deep feelings.

I love it!

The two lines "A prison of thoughts, in which I am dying", especially evokes great sadness, probably because I have felt like that many times. Thanks.

I usually write poems in Spanish, when i write a poem , i try to write a feeling, an emotional situation, etc.
I am really happy that you liked it! :wink:

Bueno, no está mal, pero normalmente suelo escribir en español jeje, y lo que hago con las poesías es "descargar" mis emociones, mis anhelos, etc.

Hola ,

Olvido mucho de espanol, solo se un poco . Pero , pienso que poder comprender poemas in espanol. A mi me gusto espanol idioma.

Ok, i have studied espanol for about a year becuse i planned to study Phd in Spain , before SA put me on the ground. Can u please translate me the word -descargas-

I usually write poems in order to release my emotions, usually when i' m sad or too anxious. But i had never tried doing that in English. Thanks for saying you liked it, i thought my poem would be bad written hehe. :wink:
