Watched its a wonderful life yesterday, didn't think I would like it but I really did. Thought the women looked classy and the men too in a non gay way.
What's your favourite old movies.

Well, depends on "how old" you want to go. :)

I like "Seven Samurai" a lot, it's from 1954. It's over three hours long, but fun to watch. To quote Wikipedia: "Seven Samurai is described as one of the greatest and most influential films ever made ... it was voted onto the top three of the Sight & Sound critics' list of greatest films of all time in 1982, and onto the directors' top ten films lists in the 1992 and 2002 polls.

Another one I liked was "The Naked Island". It's a japanese film from 1960. The film was nominated as best film from any source at the BAFTA Film Awards. It was made in black-and-white, and is notable for having no spoken dialogue. The film depicts a small family, a husband and wife and two sons, struggling to get by on a tiny island in the Seto Inland Sea, over the course of a year. They are the island's only occupants, and survive by farming. They must repeatedly carry the water for their plants and themselves in a row boat from a neighboring island.

One of my alltime favorite films is from 1974, and called "Dark Star". It can be considered a black comedy although it was marketed by Harris as more of a serious science fiction film. As a result, most of the cinema-going audience did not expect the humour and Dark Star's reception suffered from not reaching its intended audience. The home video cassette revolution of the early 1980s saw Dark Star become a cult film among sci-fi fans.
