OCD Numbers

I sneezed 4 times yesterday. I've got it in my head that the number 4 is bad for some reason. It's just something that I've decided. I can't make myself sneeze and I know it's stupid but I keep thinking that I have to sneeze 5 times in order for this way of thinking to go away. How do I get over this notion that the number 4 represents something bad.
 
lol.. i used to do this all the time.. ocd can be cured,. now iunno if my ocd was just an adolescent thing, but im ok now.. are u seeing a psych and meds help a lot! :)

Think back to what you were like before the 4 sneezes. Was everything ok? Was 4 a bad number? No? Then nothing will have changed. Remember you do just have this thought in your head. So if it didn't represent anything bad before the sneezes, it's impossible for it to represent something bad now. Try to keep countering these thoughts and hopefully with time the anxiety will ease.
