Newbie from Leeds West Yorkshire thought id say Hi to all

Hi every one im Aamina and i live in leeds west yorkshire i have had social phobia / anxiety for a few years but i only found out a few months ago by researching via the internet that i had this disorder, i am now seeing a counsellor to help me overcome the phobia help stop the panic attacks and start to build my self esteam and confidence, i really do hope its possible to get over it. I would love to talk to any women in west yorkshire or close by who like myself could really do with a friend. x x

Hi, unfortunately I don't live in West Yorkshire...wish I did, but I want to say hi, from a female who has SP. It's more common than you think. And I wish you well in your journey to find a way to overcome. Keep fighting it, every day. People with SP usually have the best things to say, but just don't get the opportunity to say them. Pity! It's usually the people who could bore you to death in a minute that you hope would take SP and give us all a chance! Good luck babe! We're all normal people, just a little hiccup....that's all!

Hiya Jael, do you think its possible to overcome the sp ? the more i read about others and there sb problems the less hope i have in getting back to the way i once was, im pefectly normal with my hubby and children it just strangers and going to new places i just cant seem to deal with.
