    There's also nothing bad about those feelings. Feeling nervous about risk taking is a normal reaction for someone who isn't totally reckless. I think realizing they aren't monsters like you said is the best way to handle them

    Sounds like individual therapy might be worth it. I've never been to couples therapy but I imagine having someone else there might be a challenge.

    Drinking and Mental Health

    Alcohol is really the worst thing for mental health. So many of us use it to self medicate but it just makes the problem worse. I can definitely say my worst day sober is better than my best day drinking.
