I guess its worse in the afternoon, when its too late to get much done, but too soon to finish the day.

Definitely worse in the morning. As soon as I wake up, I think of how I have to get up and get ready for work and I contemplate how I might rather just stay in bed forever until I die of starvation. I have my ups and downs throughout the day depending on the circumstances, and by the time the night rolls around again, my mood is usually in a downward spiral.

Most definately at night. I try to stay up till I nod off at the computer. I am scared to sleep because that is when the nightmares come. God, I sound like a horror movie.
I sleep maybe 3 hours a night every night. I get really stressed and anxious.

my depression is worse when i'm around other people. I generally don't like being with people partly due to my SA and partly due to my misanthropic nature. Anyways the crappy feeling is peaked in the evening. I'm hardly never depressed. Worse, i'm off meds, the parents don't trust me to not OD again.

Usually in the afternoons 'cause by then it will be too late to start anything, so I continue to just "waste" the rest of the day. Friday and Saturday nights are the absolute worse for me though 'cause I should be out and about, living it up or something. But I am stuck at home, painting my nails, watching crappy tv. Sick and tired of that really. I would never go out on my own on a weekend night, so for now I will have to continue to endure it.

It used to be from around 11pm until 2am,the time when I find myself affected by an aural emptiness, and a feeling of gloom in the air.
That is the time when all the condemned men are awake fretting about what lies ahead.
I feel this negativity transmits to my situation so I block it out.
Now I wear ear plugs to shut off this source of unhappiness.
