When I'm down.. (Not for the squeamish)

PugofCrydee

You want to know how I got these scars?
This is a beautiful melody...

I remember running through Ashenvale as a young night elf, wary of potential attacks from Horde players... those were the days.

You want to know how I got these scars?
I walked today..
I walked in the cold, wind and rain.
The cold rain bit at my skin as it rolled down my cheeks and over my lips..
I felt the cold bite at me.
Yet I felt nothing.
I wanted to feel something internally. I wanted to feel alive, something..anything..

Beautiful, melancholic melody, man. (y)

Did you really walk in the rain today?

What's so good about this song is that it can fit both happy and sad occasions. Someone in the YouTube comments said they used it for their wedding. You used it to pensively walk along the beach on a rainy day. I can picture both scenarios vividly.

You and I talked about this before I believe: I don't necessarily "picture" anything when I hear music (unless, of course, someone prompts me with something to visualize first). It's more a feeling for me, and this one in particular evokes a deep melancholy in me. I absolutely love it so thanks for introducing me to it.

You're more than welcome brother
I actually first heard it at the end of 'Big Little Lies'. Not something I'd normally watch but enjoyed it, and found the gem on there.
And I totally agree, it is both melancholic and uplifting at the same time!
