System for Feeling Better

I am creating this to try to find a better way to feel better when i'm feeling bad.
Hopefully i will gain some ideas/wisdom from others, so as to get this "system" working better in practise. Emotions/feelings are very tricky things, so i am getting my hopes up about this. But i will "give it a bash" here anyway, as it's something to do.

Offline, i have written (on pc mainly) SCREED AND SCREEDS of stuff on this matter. The thing is, my current "system" is still very inadequate. That's why i have created this thread - to try and get it working better.

I will start with my current state of mind: Feeling very bad for hours on end (ie all day). Nothing I do makes me feel hardly any better. I feel hopeless about feeling better. But this could be ANY form of feeling bad.

My usual method is
1) Able to get to the/a starting point (ie willing to try to help myself)
2) Get to a starting point (eg a folder or document on how to feel better)
3) Blindly/randomly try 1 or 2 possible remedies (which almost always fail)
4) And if things get too bad, "hit the grog"

So now I am on the cusp of trying to apply some NEW ways to deal with the problem of feeling bad.

Such as this:
1) Able to get to the/a starting point (ie willing to try to help myself)
2) Get to a starting point (eg a folder or document on how to feel better)
3) My latest document, entitled "FEELING BAD" (some of its contents)

• Aromatherapy
• Crystals
• Healing music
• iDoser/etc (brainwave-altering things)
• MagicEye book (''trippy-like'')
• Music (try to get better at prescribing suitable/effective music)
• Also try to pinpoint exactly WHY you feel bad (can this be done?)
(eg maybe it's due to some LONG-TERM stuff that has built-up, such as has my so-called "emotional tanks" running on empty, as per usual))

Version 1.0

If by feeling bad, you mean feeling bad about yourself, I have learned over the years to just not give a f*ck what others think about me. Be respectful, but remember, that no one is better than you. Don't give a f.... It works!

Errr, no (as i'm hardly ever around people for them to cause this).
What i mean is just feeling bad full-stop, no particular type of feeling bad. Just generally feeling bad (constantly; ie a low mood). Usually with a bit of boredom & loneliness as a part of this general low mood. It has nothing to do with people (except for maybe my lack of people contact).

And this thread is not me having a whinge, nor is it a "cry for help". It is my attempt at trying to develop a better, somewhat reliable system for improving one's mood (ie to feel better) when it is down.

You could start by changing your username. Why call yourself "loser"? From an onlooker's perspective, this appears that you are succumbing to the negative voices in your head rather than making an effort to battle them.

For me? Prozac and a walk - in that order. Works like a charm.
