Flirting....Maybe?

Weird thing happened with a girl a few days ago at work. I was talking with her and started cracking a few jokes. She loved them and said " I love your attitude" ( I occasionally pull off dry wit). Later she said I had a "beautiful chin" and said " I bet your girlfriend tells you this all the time". This was the first time anything like this had happened to me so I was speechless. I'm pretty dense about this kind of thing so I need a second opinion. Was she actually FLIRTING with me?! 8O

Whenever someone says to someone of the opposite sex "I bet your gf/bf whatever" without actually knowing if they have a bf/gf, that means they're interested.

Well, before I write anything else I'll say this, to all of you who are asking/thinking "what are you waiting for?" I'd like to ask you a question. What is the name of this website? :)
First of all, when she made the girlfriend comment I just answered "no". So I'm pretty sure she thinks I have one. Honestly, I can't believe how dense I was for not picking that up.
I've seen her since I made that last post and I see a guy hanging around her. From the way they interact I would say he's her boyfriend. But here's more weirdness. She's continuing to act the same way around me. Any ideas on what that means? But I well...flirted back. I learned her name and said I thought it was pretty. Immediately I was shocked I had said like that but I was more shocked that I wasn't scared! Something about her put me at ease. Here's where it goes downhill, I can't pursue it. When I was discharged from the Navy I had no friends and therefore nowhere to go. So I had to move back in with my parents. As you can imagine I'm extremely embarassed by this and under no circumstances is she finding out. I'm also planning on moving into a college dorm this fall so that's another reason why this can't work. The first girl who shows this much interest in me and it can't happen. Kind of a sick irony isn't it?
But for now, that's okay. For now, this is enough. She's made me happier than I've ever thought I could be. To go in one week from talking to no one to flirting...I've got no complaints. :D
