conversation skills "How to Talk to Anyone"

Has anyone with sa had good results from the book "How to Talk to Anyone".I've heard good things about it.Is it only useful for people who are quite good at talking already,or has anyone who would normally be quiet in public had any success with it?

oh and has anyone found any courses or groups or indeed other books that have helped to improve their conversation,interaction and social skills?

my mate taught me Sales skills years ago, I found my life transformed by them, I can chat well now but it is a strain after a while

i used to work at a shoe store and putting on that employee persona helped me alot with my SA. it's easier in everyday things now, i recomend working! but no i haven't read any books or taken any courses, i'm of no help!

i found it useless. its says ''talk about the weather'' and that would be easy if i wasnt trembling inside from fear. its too american too
