Iwas talking to someone from the forum a couple of weeks ago about this!! Didn't know there was a thread asbout it.
My fear of the bath was always about something bad happening...like having a fit in the bath and drowning.
I also had this thing when people came into my house. If workmen had to do something...I would be uncomfortable for a couple of weeks and think that someone had put a camera or mic somewhere and that I was being watched.
I still have the fears...although nowhere near as bad as I used too. I take a portable phone into the bathroom with me...so I feel safer there. And...if there are occasions when workmen come into the house...I try not to think too much about it and laugh at myself for being so ridiculous. It does help.
I also had a fear of being in the house my myself. Again...this no longer hapens...but its amazing how anxiety can cripple you!!
OMG i thought it was just me, i check the whole bathroom before I get undressed. i even check the overflow thingy on the bath incase a pinhole camera is in there.
How did you begin to cope with it?
