worried for my partner

Hello,

I do not suffer from anxiety or social phobia but I do know a lot about it. My partner has it.

I have been with him for 6 months which is really lucky as we have nearly split up several times due to his condition. He is currently taking 0.2mcg of clonazepam but he feels they arnt doing anything for him anymore as he feels dizzy so now he is taking 2 a day possibly.

When he runs out of the tablets til his next doctors appointment to get more he suffers horrible withdrawel symptoms such as dillusional thoughts, bad temper and snapping at everyone and he takes it out on me sometimes. When he's off them he's not the person I know and love. He doesn't even care much for me.
How do I cope with his withdrawel when he is off the tablets? I am not living with him which I think is probably more beneficial at the moment.

2 years ago before I knew him he used to have social phobia as well as his anxiety, he knew there was something wrong so he spent his time on the internet finding what it was that was wrong with him. and he did something about it and went to the doctor and diagnosed himself.

He also felt unloved by many people in his past such as his family and finds it hard to love me because of it. If he's felt unloved, how does he know what love is.

But the withdrawels are a pain. I need advice from other people who suffer from this condition so I can get a feel from it. and not just from my boyfriends point of view.

I would be grateful from any help and advice, thank you
