I have a twitchy neck so severe even when I walk, the very tiny shock I feel when I step on the ground makes my head shake. Basically it happens when I exert even a very little force.
If I don't take xanax, my neck twtiches/spasms irregularly whether or not there are people near me. Even my entire back begins to twtich.
So last fall I went to a neurologist to see if she can give me a botox injection for this symptom. She initially said no but after begging I was told that she can personally give me some kind of leftover(forgot the medical term), but for $1000. So I said forget it. I mean it's obvious she's trying to make some money out of it. I know it costs around $500.
Before and since then I tried nearly everything I could(exercise, therapy, supplement, lots of medications), but none of them worked.(possibly except xanax, but that's far from enough)
