Has anyone ever tried this and saw results?

If so how does this make you feel?
How long does it take to work?

I haven't tried xanax xr but I have tried the original xanax and found it to be very helpful. The difference is tha XR is designed to last all day instead of the 3 or 4 hours the normal xanax lasts. I find clonazepam to be a better drug than xanax though simply because it makes me less drowsey

The first couple days it makes you feel almost euphoric (really good). After your body gets used to it you dont really feel anything, except less anxious and a lot better than you did before.

Nothing to be scared of with this drug. Its good stuff and I went from feeling anxious almost all day every day to rarely feeling bad. Its not a cure but helps a ton. :)

While we're on this subject...for those who have used xanax xr and regular xanax I have a question for you.

Xanax XR is great for regular daily life but for the more stressful stuff like flying etc. there needs to be something else to work a little better.

Has anyone ever taken Xanax XR for daily use and straight Xanax when they have an "out of the norm" stressful event that could cause a panic attack.

To me this seems like it would work perfect but my Doctor said it's not good to mess with doses. Personally I don't see why it would be a bad thing. To be honest it would almost be like a "cure" for me.

Hello

I was prescribed with Xanax (5mg) a few days a go as I was suffering terrible panic attacks atleast 4 times a day. And now I feel great! I can actually sleep and don't think I'm dying and I feel back to my old self. The only thing is is that my balance is really rather bad as is my coordination and I do feel pretty sleepy. Does anyone else experience this?

Last night I went out and had a few beers (probably shouldn't have done that, but screw it I want to be social and not feel like it's taking over my life) and it really does increase the effects. I'm not planning on making it a regular thing but this last week has been so terrible.

I'm not looking forward to going off Xanax! I'm going to be seeing a psychologist in the next week so maybe I will be convinced otherwise. All I want is to never have another attack again. Worst experience in my life.

how odd....I also had to take that but I didn't really feel any difference. I was a bit more sleepy during the first week..but no euphoria for me!
The only really strongly noticeable effect was the coming off period...I just felt like I needed to take it again..and again..guess it's the addictive side to it.

Be wary of the possibilty of addiction. happened to me. also-never crush or even cut the xr. you get it all at once if you do this ruining the extended release action.
