Would you publish your own book if you had an idea?

Would you? I have an idea for some book. I think it is quite a good idea.

But my phobia does not let me to do it. I don't want to be known as somebody who publish books - no one with Social anxiety wants I suppose. If it was actually good, it'd be too famous!

But maybe I could write under a pseudonym? It'd hide me and my book could be published then.
