Works therapy really that well ?

When you hear psychologist, doctors, psychiaters they
say that its so easily curable just a few sessions
but why then are here so many people hanging here around ?
is it laziness, depression or are those sa people just telling
they feel better placebo/scared to say it didnt work ?

The thing is that the majority of the work is done by the patient, not the therapist/psychologist. If someone that suffers social anxiety isn't ready for treatment (and that can be due to a number of reasons), then the chances of it not working are significantly higher.

If patient isn't ready, then all the therapist/psychologist can do is try and help them to get to that turning point in their life.

Therapy does wonders, but it's a steady two way stream that requires phenomenal effort on both sides. Why there are still so many people here? Who knows. Everyone has their own life and a unique story attached to it. I wouldn't be surprised if each had their very own reason.
