Work

Been a while since I've been on here mostly cuz I've been working lots. Its my first job and I work 40 hours a week. It's not as bas as I thought it would be, I work in the garden section at a hardware store. Some people are retarded but most are nice for example today some old lady gave me $10 for loading bushes into her car, I told her I'm not supposed to take it but she put it in my pocket. :) The people I work with are pretty nice too but most don't do as much work as they could. I try and do lots of work but I don't really feel fully appreciated like the others are by the manager, who is a little dippy but at the end of the day I don't really care since I'm getting paid. Social anxiety does get in the way sometimes but I can interact with people to a certain degree.

I know this is a little long but I felt like sharing it with you! :p

It gets better from there man, seriously. Working is so good for your anxiety. I'm the same way with doing work, a lot of people slack off a lot and walk away from their cash registers, i'm usually out front grabbing customers. The more work you do the faster the day goes anyway.

Good luck with your job...and stick with it no matter what(from the anxiety side of things).
