Who's tried Nardil?

I've tried so many medications; all the ssri's, benzos, mood stabilizers, atypical this and that - popped any pill that held out some hope. But, but, but.I have not tried nardil. I read a couple of positive posts, but I've also read up on my own and concerned about the side effects like weight gain, no no more of that, thank you. Anyhoo, anyone out there had positive experiences from nardil?

I have read about a lot of positive experiences with Nardil, even though I've never tried it. I've never tried any medicine for that matter. I have a terrible fear of bad side effects.

If I were taking Nardil, I think I would be too paranoid. I know that the risk of a hypertensive crisis is extremely small, but I would always be uneasy.

Hi there,
I tried Nardil about 10 years ago. Unfortunately it didn't do anything for me. But when I read anything about it, they always lists statistics that say something like 80% of people get relief from it.
Probably worth a try if the risk of side-effects don't bother you.
If you're careful, no harm in trying. Could bring a lot of relief. :)

I used to read a different forum a while back (haven't been on it lately), and a lot of the people there had positive remarks about Nardil. From what I read, they said it was far better than any of the SSRIs. Apparently, it's a little more difficult to get because of the risk of a hypertensive crisis. I've heard that the possibility of this effect is somewhat exaggerated though.
