What's up with "therapists"?

I'm totally sick of my "therapist" saying unnecessary things to me, like the latest is that she thinks that most of my social anxiety is caused by me not knowing how to communicate. What the _ is this? How am I supposed to communicate when I feel extremely uncomfortable in social situations? This is like my hundreth therapist in the last 12 years, and i'm sick of going from therapist to therapist hoping that the next one will be more sensitive. I've been through enough crap in my life to put up with this anymore, i've had it. If you are a therapist or whatever reading this, take my advice right now and shut your mouth when it shouldn't be open. And you can all _ yourselves too.

I think the fact that you go from therapist to therapist should tell you something. it's their job to point out things that people may not know is there and may not want to hear. They are trained to be sensitive to your feelings and are probably trying to help you. but still, the advice is coming from someone who doesn't understand and who doesn't also suffer from the illness. keep in mind that they are only trying to help. If you're still unhappy I wouldn't waste your money.

I think the problem is that there is not specialists about SP;the psicologists and psiquiatrics are very generalists and they don't Know the illness.
Here in barcelona where I live ,there is a good psicologist about SP and the people that I know have had a good result. The group's therapy is an important part of the treatment.

i also had to go through a million therapists - now im moving on to a psychologist as well so i hope you guys are right about it working better.

if you disagree with something they say tell them, dont just give up on one, the more you get to know them the more they will understand you.
