Oh, I finally thought of one. It was orientation for college and the night before we leave there was this "block party" thing. Well, I knew no one and knew I would not survive 20 minutes at the party. I sneak out the back and head back to my room. And this was orientation, so I had no idea where I was going, so I ended up walking around 1-2 hours. Asking someone was out of the question and looking at a map was too because I didn't want someone to think I was lost and ask me if I need any help 
eek. I ended up finding a place where no one was around to look at the map I had with me, to learn I was on the wrong side of the road the whole time (It was dark out!).
