Please help me. This is driving me nuts.
My 2 yr old daughter has been in daycare for the last year. She was only going for 2 day a week because I work in a restaurant and I only work 1 day shift.
Recently my daycare provider came to me and asked me to change the day that my daughter attended daycare. This would force me to change my schedule which I did not want to. I would prefer my dayshift to be a quiet day (ie Tuesday) rather than a busy day (ie, if I work Fri night, I can easily make over $200)
Rather than tell the daycare provider that a day change did not suit me, I said that I would change and send my daughter on a day that I do not work.
I was planning on doing this until that day came. I could not bear to send my daughter to daycare while I was not working. I am a single mother and I work enough already. I cherish my time with my daughter.
My parents have already agreed to watch my daughter on the day when I work.
I just have to call the daycare provider and tell her that my daughter will not be attending anymore.
Yet I can not make this phone call. There is nothing that I would rather do less than make this phone call.
I have already not sent my daugther 2 weeks without calling. She has called me but I have not answered or not returned the call.
If she did not live in the same area as me and come to the restaurant that I work in, I would not worry. I just would never call her and never show up again.
What is wrong with me. Why can't I do this?????
