^Exactly! I remember this woman commenting on my quiet behavior, indirectly though. She said something like, "...when my daughter is quiet, I assume something's wrong." Soemtimes, I just wanted to tell people that I'm quiet because I want to be, not because something's wrong. It's just in my nature to be quiet, enjoying the silence and such.

Yep, am the same. It's just irritatin' huvin' it constantly pointed oot. Ah never know the correct response. And "Git tae fu..." is a very anti-social reaction.

But then I'm also a Depeche Mode fan, so there ye go... Just a wee in-joke song reference, there - since ye mention enjoyin' the silence. Sorry, it's in ma nature tae be annoyin', weird, quick-witted and hilariously funny in equal measure.

I don't get why some guy would be interested in someone like me. Not just some random guy, but the extraverted flirty type guy. I expect someone like him to go for supermodel type girls, or at least someone who's just as social and extraverted as him. I'm not sure if it's a joke or what. I feel like Carrie in the film. Numerous thoughts are floating through my mind, including 1) am I his last ditch effort after numerous bouts of romances? It wouldn't be fair if I'm treated like the rebound girl (AKA #2 instead of #1), 2) Do I look easy to snag? 3) What are his intentions?
Don't put yourself down like this. Maybe he genuinely likes you.
