I inspire you? Are you sure you haven't got that backwards? :)

I have never left Australia, either. My first plane ride was to Melbourne in 2008 and that was riddled with nervousness. Since then I've been on a plane to Melbourne a few times, plus the Gold Coast and to Perth. New Zealand was the best option to begin my overseas traveling.

I'm glad to be an inspiration to you but I'm certainly nobody to look up to!

Oh ok. The thing is I've been to other countries but I've never been to any other place in Australia besides Melbourne.

Long term goal when I graduate is to work and live in another country for a few years.

Ah, I see. I've been to heaps of places in Australia but this'll be my first overseas trip. I've been to Melbourne many times and you live in a very nice part of the country.
