Do they really exist or is it just a scam ? I do hear a lot of people making small amount of money with this but I'm not sure if these people are authentic. I'm looking for a work at home type of job, anything to do with computers. Can any one tell me ? Please don't suggest me the ones where you have to pay some amount in advance because those are scams. That's a given.

I'm a virtual assistant. I format e-books for people selling products, take care of on-line customer service and heaps of other stuff.

I really like it. I don't have a professional degree just really good organisations skills.

Infact I believe because I am a senstive type person (because of my SP) I tend to understand people very well without meeting them fact to face.

The people I work for say this is a huge asset to their business. Let me know if you want more info.

What are you qualifications - what do you like doing - I'd be happy to help.

I just graduated with a BS in computer science. I live in India and it is very easy for me to find a very high paying software job; Actually, I did land up a software job after graduation. But because of my extreme social phobia, total lack of social skills/etiquettes and fear of being laughed at[ because of my past], I just couldn't work in that kind of office. My last (and first) job just lasted for 4 days. I just couldn't handle it. It is a kind of job where you cannot avoid talking to other people; employers don't want people with psychological issues. I'm jobless right now so I was thinking if I could make some money to pay for my graduate school. Can't go back to working in IT at all. I'm not prepared mentally and I'm not sure if I will be prepared in the future. Probably, graduate school is just escapism but then I don't have any option. It's like I'm just trying to spend my life doing something and hiding from others which is very sad. I have been sitting idle at my home sleeping 10-11 hours everyday and I don't like wasting myself like this. My parents are yelling at me and I'm constantly getting suicidal thoughts because of my horrible situation.

In the perfect world - no social social anxiety, no parent's expectations, no money constraints. What would you be doing? Imagine you've already bought everything you need - you've got the pool, the car, the social life, everything ... what would you be doing with your spare time?

(The reason I ask is that this can give you some insight into your hidden talents)... there could be an opportunity on-line in an area that you didn't even know existed.

also you can check out www.elance.com - for software development opportunities - if doing this on-line is an option for you.
