It's snowing and it's blowing and it's really cold. The high temp tomorrow is -9F, with the windchill between -30F and -40F. Stay warm, everyone!

My boss emailed to say, basically, that we shouldn't come in Monday unless we absolutely feel the need to. I guess I should be happy, but...I dunno, I guess I just miss my work kitties and worry about them.
Many parts of the city are without power tonight, with temps expected to fall to -17F. I'm worried about my dad, though I just talked to him on the phone and he seems like he's having fun "surviving" without power.

My dad kept bothering me not to go into work today (Sunday). I was able to find someone to cover my shift. Later, a coworker texted me that they had decided to close the store early - at 3pm instead of 9pm - because of the weather. I'm supposed to work Monday afternoon/night, but I'm hoping they call it off because of the insane cold. I have a 40 minute drive to work and I live in the middle of nowhere where they don't plow the roads. It's hard to navigate around here! I don't want to have to worry about going to work. Stay safe and warm, Midwesterners and Northeasterners!

A sauna. I sweat more lying down than I do on my 10km runs.

Nineteen degrees and windy; sub-zero windchills expected tonight. Light, fluffy snowflakes dance madly in the frosty air.

I think I'll stay inside today.

Today it's icy and windy, with a temp of 21F but feels like 9F. Then it's supposed to get to -5F tonight, with a high of 7F tomorrow but with windchill as cold as -25F. :crying: I'm really hating this winter weather.

This should be the official weather report on your nightly news.

19C here and sunny. This is the perfect temperature to be out and about...if I had anything at all to do, of course.

It was 15F when I stepped out to leave work last night, and it felt warm. Thank goodness the extreme cold snap seems to be over.

I'm roasting in 40+ degree weather here and will be for the next two days until it goes back to 20ish.
