hello all anyone seen the film truman show well lets say the universe is just a place for weirder beings to control us and see how we develop and what we see in distance is just made up



so in theory i can build a spaceship and fly to the edge and see the boss

There's a book called "The Philosopher at the End of the Universe." You might find it interesting.

Provided you have an entire system to explain why "the boss" would be at the end of the universe (which you would never get to see anyway) and why entities bother to create an illusion for us.
