A chain of events....

a party full of people, have to talk. fortunately halloween, they cant see my face.

good, cos i feel so old. im 28 they are all kids: 20-21 etc.

drink to feel at ease. drink more. red wine straight from the bot. get confident. hassle my mate, shadow box, wrestle.....bang. he cracks me in the face with a right. next thing, wake up. its my bed and my head hurts. it isnt until the afternoon i discover my duvey was hiding the contents of last nights guts. the smell, the fucken smell.

slept on the couch in the lounge cos my skin peels when i set forth in my room. overhear my new housemate complaining to her bf that i sleaze onto her and dont respect him. cant sleep cos of thinking of that. didnt know i was doing either, just plain didnt fucken know. already told her of my phobia, thought things were straight. next two nights in my room, smell horrid. open windows and wake up covered in red welts. now, in my room, the smell a mix of rotting food and carpet cleaner. Im getting a headache and thinking about this being my life.

this is my life.

a bit hard core. I've done quite lots of crazy things while drunk as well. Now I know that alcohol is my enemy, unless it is consumed in reasonable quantities.

There is no reasonable quantities. Or perhaps glass or two of wine.
If i m down , then a greater ammount of it would reveal how much down i m.

I used it moderately in the past to mask my shyness. Since it is not permanent change it is useless.

And yes..i did a lot of stupid, childish thing when on it..
One of stupidest was attack on turkish cargo boat :D
God, give me some ot that good old youngish days when i m not able to
gain some 'social skills/grow up' thang.

Hi Vincent
I hope the hangover has worn off.

I know there are a million and one websites on the evils of alcohol but these two are helpful.

If you think you need some support or have any questions about any aspect of alcohol abuse, there are some good people here (non-religious, non-AA - just people beating the booze):

http://wqd.netwarriors.org/forum.php

Self-recovery:

http://www.rational.org/recover.html

Good luck. Alcohol will make any anxiety problems ten times worse - believe me, I know from experience.
