It was decent in the very beginning, first season or two. Then it turned into a totally femme soap opera/rom-com, which sucked.

Chandler Bing kept it funny but like someone said you had to watch it 10 years ago to get it.

And whats so good about Seinfeld? I never understood why it was so popular.

They had a whole episode where they stood in line waiting for a table at a Chinese restaurant. They had another one about which way to get in to a parking spot. To me, it was genius

i never understood the big hoop la about friends personally, but one of my friends at the time made me watch the final season w/ her and for some reason i got into it. it didn't dramatically alter my attitude about it tho.

and i never saw the big deal about seinfeld or frasier or any of those shows either.

I don't know if Friends was ever 'funny' as in 'laugh out loud' but i can easily sit and watch Friends episodes because they're just easy viewing and i find them quite relaxing. The most i do is chuckle at some of the things, but not laugh out loud

I wasn't fond of the first series, but it definitely picked up for me after that.

The whole Ross and Rachel thing was way too dragged out though.

it was alright but as i got older i began to like it less and less and got so sick of joey and and that other one phoebe god everything she said was joke.

it's one of my guilty pleasures in life..

And I never seem to tire of the whole ten series of the show being repeated over and over on Channel 4 / E4.
