Well, I'm 19, & in college (I take the bus).
But I'm not able to go ahead & get a job or get a driver's license, out of anxiety & out of hatred of doing them.
Why can't I muster to do this?!!

How are you going to pay for your tuition then? Burden other people to help pay for you? NO, I'm forcing myself to go find a job and atm learning how to drive so people wont pity me. You gotta force yourself or else its gonna get bad after college... btw, i'm also 19 and in college (gey school)

Don’t be too hard on yourself. I didn’t get my driver’s licence until I was 28. I used to go into panic when the traffic was heavy and every time I got out of the car I felt like giving up on the whole thing. It always bothered me because I really wanted the freedom of driving myself around but I just found it so difficult to stay calm on the road. Also the test itself freaked me out because I HATE exams. Anyway after years of practice I got there in the end and finally got my licence.
Keep at it if it’s something you really want, just start off slow, find someone who has patience to teach you and make sure they are understanding of your anxiety issues. It’s important that you find the right teacher for you. Don't push yourself to quickly either. A lot of people say to throw yourself into the deep end sink or swim style, but if you’re anything like me this will only have a negative outcome. Take your time and slowly build your confidence. Good luck :)

Well at least you can use the bus. I'm too socially anxious and scared to use the bus. Not to mention the public transportation here sucks really badly...
The only time I go outside of my house is when I have a chauffeur (my mom or sister) since I don't have a license or a car.
