Thoughts and experiments... [dun dun dun]

I was just talking with someone about this the other day: how come it seems that everybody with phobias/sa/irrational fears etc takes life and everything they experience way too seriously? I mean, it's ridiculous. Sometimes I'll find myself unable to crack a smile, or sometimes I just forget to relax and have a good time, to the point where everything becomes a stress. And the worst part about it all - I don't know about you guys, but do you tend to make every decision out to feel like you're choosing between life or death?

I guess I even forget sometimes, the more focus you give all of it is just more fuel to the fire. In fact, searching for a cure is indeed digging your own grave (metaphorically, that is... lol). But really, if you think about it all, or replay old scenarios in your mind repeatedly, that's the best way to feel negatively about yourself.

So just for a stupid little thought experiment, I'm going to try something new (I thought I'd post it here for progress purposes, or just in case an adventurous soul would like to join in!). For the next week, I'm just going to pretend like I don't have 'sa/sp/whateverthefuck' anymore. What harm could it do, right? I'm just going to set out to have a good time... even though I can be a pretty anxious guy in certain situations, at least I know by this point (I've lived 18 years with this shit, what now?) that fear is just a shitty little feeling that dissipates after a few minutes of interaction. Plus, it's never killed anyone. If so, I'll be the first to go and you'll hear about me in the news. ...And then we'll call this operation off.

But for now, nobody's died from fear yet, so I'm gonna give it a go. Break this fucking ice, or get killed trying. :) Anybody else wanna give it a go (lol)?

But for now, I gotta go to sleep. can't start this glorious week off by being dead tired, right?
