The Secret of Anxiety

Many people know that their anxiety has been caused
by some worries. Every one has worries in daily life.
However, why do some persons get anxiety and others
not get it?

Here is a secret:

The secret is that if a person tries to solve every
problem he/she has met, then he/she is more likely to
get anxiety, and if a person only tries to solve problems
which he/she can and must solve, and makes changes in
life and work to avoid things beyond his/her ability, he/she
may avoid anxiety.

Anxiety is something that a lot of people struggle with on a day to day basis. It's easy to become so focused on how you can do better, that sometimes it's easy to neglect the things that you are already doing well in. I think it's important to realize that you cannot do everything! If my students are struggling a lot with anxiety, I will try to remind them that everything does not have to be perfect! Also, I think it is good to focus on one thing at a time, otherwise it can get quite overwhelming. So if a student is working on their spelling, grammar, and punctuation and is getting overwhelmed at trying to remember everything, I would suggest to only focus on one thing at a time. Tell them that you are going to grade that assignment on the spelling and nothing else, so that they can focus on that and not worry about every little thing that they need to do. And next time focus on something else until the student starts to improve and can do more at once.

That is what you feel in regards to the type you have, not me. I was not trying to fix any problems, in fact I didn't have many problems, I was homeschooled. I feel that things got worse because I was not around people enought, and did not become immune to getting beaten up, and did not consume myself with real problems, that now I worry about ones that don't really exist anywhere but in my thoughts.
