Some Nonsensical Poems

After my more serious poems I've been working on some more light-hearted poems. One I made during my shift at the shift at the hospital, the other one some time ago just so I can kind of get myself off of my mind.

The World is a Cube

Believe me, believe me,
Look what I’ve found!
This world is in fact not round at all!

Science is wrong,
Do not give to the ridiculous notion
About particles in motion and paradigms and laws.
I am the only law, I am your truth!

God was wrong too!
He claimed the world was flat, what madness I tell you!
He is a fool, and is nothing more than
A hammer dulled to a gray point of nothing.

But no, I’m right.
I know I am right.
The world is a cube
Because I see it that way,
I know it that way,
Believe me, believe me.

The world is a cube and
The universe is an infinitesimal dot,
So I can murder the scientist,
And kill God’s waning spirit,
And it’s okay, hooray!

TV

Cooking.
Travel.
Flip, Flip, Flip.
When will I find the one for me?

Weather,
Comedy,
Hahahah,
This is funny but not for me.

Movies? Maybe.
Look at this couple without a clue.
There’s a fool tripping on his cues.

Flip, flip, flip,
When will I find the one for me?
Oh dear god, It’s been seven hours!
