was watching scrubs yesterday, and heard a great line ( episode was called "my own personal hell".)
In short, JD was talking to someone, and recounted something said by an elderly patient. She was 87 and asked her if she had any regrets in life.
She replied "only 1". The regret was that she played it too safe and if she had another chance in life she would have taken more risks.
That line really struck a chord with me.
