Self help == HELP!!

I have suffered with social anxiety for a few years and have only recently found out that it was anxiety - I just assumed I was a nervous person and didn't want to look stupid in some situations!

My anxiety only appears in certain situations like eating in a restuarant or in meetings where you are picked on to speak! I feel it's not that bad that I need to be on medication but wondered if anyone has used any good books or CDs to help them. I've heard of the anxiety workbook by James bourne ( I think) and it gets amazing reviews!!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
 
Hello vicki, yes The Anxiety Workbook by James Bourne is an excellent place to start. That's the first book I ever read when I first found out the problems I had actually had a name!:)
