i sweat quite a bit around my hands and underarms, and because of this i believe it has caused some problems for me regarding social interaction, being nervous, shaky, uncomfortable, etc.
but i've also noticed, that if i had hyperhidrosis, wouldn't i regularly sweat at home? my sweating at home pales in comparison to what happens else where, my hands, at their worst, can be slightly clammy if im using the computer, playing guitar, etc, same with sweating in my underarms. i only seem to sweat outside of my house, or when other people around me are in the house. could this mean i dont have hyperhidrosis, and rather it is just social anxiety disorder?
i want to get some treatment for this, as it obviously sucks hard, but i dont know whether i should go see a dermatologist (as my family doctor has instructed me) or if i should go see my family doctor again and ask for something about SAD.
thanks in advance
