Robinul/Avert/Glycopyrrolate Side Effects

Anyone here who has been using this for a while and could give me an idea of what I'm getting into? The only real thing I can find is dry mouth which I couldn't care less about. Is there anything else I should be worried about? I like to workout a lot at the gym and am quite active. I take various supplements such as creatine cycles, whey protein, and multi vitamins daily. Would there be any conflicts with mainly the creatine? Also, I've read that you possibly lose stomach acid. Does this mean you're unable to digest certain foods as easily or how does that work? I eat like a beast.=)

Anyways, just trying to do my research before I decide to make the purchase.. I'm desperate to stop my sweating, but I don't want to kill myself in the process lol.

Same situation, well I'm not on robinul yet, but I'd like to know what would happen if you were planning to do a lot of physical activity while using it?

From nursing school I know that Robinul is an anti-cholinergic commonly used to treat ulcers. The main side effects are constipation, dry mouth, dry eyes, drowsiness and dizziness. You don't necessary lose stomach acid but the medicaiton helps to absorb secretions (this is why it sometimes helps people with HH). I'm not sure about how or if it would impact your supplements, you could always call you doctor or pharmacist and ask though! Also my derm told me to be careful when excerising or being outside in the heat since your not sweating as much you are more prone to overheat and things like that. Hope you all have better luck than I did, it didn't help my HH at all :)

Avert has worked wonderfully for me. You can adjust the dose--when I'm going to my gym (not that hardline), I take a little less and sweat a little. You could take none and sweat a lot while working out if you wanted, since others are sweating too.

I only sometimes get dry mouth--and occasionally a slightly sore throat. Have to say, I don't care!

I took glyco for about a month and a half over the summer. I had to stop because it was giving me a cough for some reason. I only experienced dry mouth/throat in the beginning, but the cough persisted. I started at 1mg three times a day and that worked fine for a little while, but then I had to go up to 5 mg a day to see results. My sweating wasn't ever "turned off," but it was definitely reduced when I was in non-anxious states.

I'm not trying to turn anyone off from at least trying it, but this was my honest experience. I now use a homemade ionto device that has worked perfectly for my hands.
