Resources that may help

I thought I would make a thread of all the stuff that I have found online that might help some of us who struggle daily with negative thoughts, depression, shyness, mental health - low self esteem and low social confidence.

I have come across many different websites and books over the years that have helped (although not cured... I doubt that will ever happen) and also gained knowledge from. I though it would be helpful to share... and also a place to keep track off it all.

An online compendium of resources - so to speak.

Feel free to chip in with your own contributions - you never know who might relate and appreciate it.

Centre for Clinical Interventions (CCI) - Psychotherapy, Research, Training

This is an australian mental health series of worksheets to help with assertiveness and self esteem - its mostly a CBT approach but I found it to be quite useful - particularly the documents on self esteem (rules and assumptions) downloadable PDF's

Succeed Socially.com | A Free, Detailed Social Skills Guide For Adults

series of articles aimed at adults to improve social confidence...and to answers questions about "why people dont like me" etc... interesting.

Book Shop | The Happiness Trap | Stop Struggling Start Living by Dr Russ Harris

A psychiatrist suggested reading some of the material here - the website is free but the books are not - I am reading the confidence gap at the moment - an acceptance and commitmnent therapy approach to overcomming psychological problems

Thats all I can think of right now - but there is heaps of other stuff about that I have read - I will add later if I remember it.
